1. Agreement
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the marketing website go-zen.app (the “Site”) operated by GoZen (personal project of Kimetz Egiazabal) (“we”, “us”).
By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

2. What the Site is
The Site provides information about the GoZen product: a calm, premium Go (Weiqi / Baduk) app aimed at beginners, including local-first / offline play where described, board-first learning, and daily puzzles, with a soft “Coming to Android” message where shown.
The Site may offer a waitlist so you can leave an email and hear about launch or updates.
The Site is not the mobile app. App download, store terms, and in-app rules will apply separately when the app is available.
3. No professional advice; product promises
Content on the Site is for general information only. It is not legal, medical, or professional advice.
Marketing copy on the Site:
- does not promise a paywall on day one,
- does not claim specific AI engines (e.g. KataGo) or named training stacks as product features unless we explicitly state them later,
- does not promise rankings, multiplayer chat, or always-online social features as part of the current Site promise.
Features may change before or after launch. “Coming soon” and waitlist language are invitations to stay informed, not a binding commitment to ship on a date or with a fixed feature set.
4. Waitlist and emails
If you join the waitlist, you agree to provide a valid email you control and to receive related product / launch communications. You can unsubscribe as described in those emails or in our Privacy Policy.
We may reject or remove waitlist entries that appear abusive, automated, or unlawful.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- probe, scan, or attack the Site except with our written permission,
- overload or disrupt the Site or its infrastructure,
- submit unlawful, harmful, or misleading content,
- scrape the Site in a way that harms availability or violates robots/meta rules,
- attempt to bypass security or rate limits (including waitlist protections),
- use the Site in violation of applicable law.
We may suspend access or remove content if we reasonably believe these Terms were violated.
6. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise marked, the Site’s text, design, logos, graphics, and trademarks are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute Site content for commercial use without permission.
“GoZen” name and marks: an unregistered name used for this personal project. No claim of registered trademark status is made unless we later state a registration.
You may share links to public pages of the Site for non-misleading purposes.
7. Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party sites (app stores, articles, etc.). We are not responsible for their content or practices. Their terms and privacy policies apply.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SITE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers; in those places, disclaimers apply only to the extent permitted.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND ANYONE ACTING ON OUR BEHALF WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED EUR 100 (or the amount you paid us for Site access in the prior 12 months, typically €0), whichever is greater.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including certain consumer rights in the EU/EEA).
10. Indemnity (where allowed)
To the extent permitted by law, you will indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct or gross negligence.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Courts of Donostia-San Sebastián (Gipuzkoa), Spain shall have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer in the EEA/UK you may bring proceedings in your place of residence, and mandatory consumer protections continue to apply.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance, except where local law requires another process. Material changes may be highlighted on the Site.

13. Severability
If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
